The passing down of all virtues and habits start with storytelling, tradition, and engagement. Families who engage in these things matter greatly to the continued story of God's Kingdom on earth and sharing the love God has for every human and living being. The dynamic sharing between adults, little children, youth, young adults, seasoned adults, and even babies is something Jesus greatly encouraged in stories that included children, the elderly, and the work of the apostles and all followers. We need each other. Join us on the journey. We need you!

NURSERY
Babies are children of God and participate in the kingdom through song, play, making friends, hearing stories, and finding blessing in creation. The nursery is for infants and children through 5 years old. Our trained nursery teacher is fabulous! Come pop in for a visit and say hi to Rachael. |

FORMATION
First Sunday Faith Formation Come at 9:30 am on the first Sunday of each month for formation time for ALL ages! We all start together in the Nave, the big worship space. Missional Sundays On these Sundays (EVERY OTHER second Sunday of the month) we put our faith into action. We have worked on nature identification signs for our garden, writing to prisoners and hearing about incarcerations, made communion bread, and role played our new listening skills. All ages are encouraged to participate together. This is a great space to dip your toe in and meet new folks. SERVING IN WORSHIP Acolyting Participating in the Sunday service is for everyone and not difficult, but reverent and beautifully contemplative, even for children. Sign your child up (or you!) at [email protected] Greeters Our children are our greeters! Sign up at [email protected] CHILDREN IN WORSHIP Pew Bags No need haul a bag of toys to church, we have pew bags loaded with activities to keep hands busy as ears are still open! We firmly believe this. Take a bag in the Narthex and return it in good shape. UP FRONT There are rugs spread out for children to get a front seat to worship in front of the pews. Children are often invited to the rail to watch during the Eucharistic Prayer. Children's Narthex We offer parents a room to be, should they want to listen to the service as they rock babies, allow their toddlers to play, or have a place to take a moment to address their child's specific needs. Please don't call it a "cry room" - that is not our intention. God put the wiggles and giggles in children and WE WANT THEM - wiggles and gigles included - to share CHURCH WITH US. Children's Chapel Worship for children 4-12 during the Sunday service at 10:30 am. Song, the Gospel in words they understand, and prayers are part of their own special time between the sermon and the confession. Children are brought back to their caregivers during the peace greeting and experience Holy Communion with everyone gathered. Children's Chapel: age appropriate and sacred meet together! Kids' Sermon What if we still told and read the Bible stories with our children in a way that empowers their own unique belovedness? Kids are invited up front for a good word from the preacher about the Gospel. |
