FAQS

What are the service times?
Whether you say mass, service, Eucharist, or worship service, we gather at 8:00 am and 10:30 am for all things praising God, community, and getting ready to work in the world. The 8:00 am service is a spoken service with no music and uses the formal Rite I (Elizabethan English) liturgy. It is meditative and spar - it is the perfect service for some people. The 10:30 am service offers music, choir, and all children's offerings. In between the services on most Sundays, there is something to do, whether it's eating breakfast, working on a project, or engaging in Sunday School/Bible Study.

Every so often, we offer a "combined service" at 9:30 am when we merge the 8:00 and 10:30  "regulars" and worship as one church. Usually, Thanksgiving, Easter Sunday, and Pentecost are days you can expect this. Check our home page for these changes. During the summer months, we also combine the services and worship at 9:30 am.

Where do I park?
You may park in any available space in the front, on the side, or in the back. Handicap parking is accessible in the front and the side. Enter the white doors for the Nave, our big worship space, to the right of the white doors.

Is there a nursery?
Yes! Although your babies and littles are encouraged and welcome in worship, we have a certified nursery coordinator on the first Sunday of every month who cares for God's littlest in our sweet space and trained volunteers are present all other Sundays. Stop in to see Rachael and she will greet you and let you know what to do!

Is there a book I can read or a class I can attend to learn more about the Episcopal denomination?
Yes again! While you do not have to be an Episcopalian or know anything about the particulars of the faith, the clergy are ALWAYS willing to answer questions (none are silly!) and we provide a "Episcopal 101" style class every January and a mini one in the fall. However, there is no one "right" way to worship and many of us do things a bit differently right in the same pew!
There are many books we can recommend according to where you are in your faith and seeking. Additionally, there is an "Ask us anything" box located in the Narthex for questions that need delicate or confidential attention. The beautiful and quirky Episcopal tradition is both ancient and relevant, reverent and creative. Truly, ask us anything!
