The Heart of a child

My Brother doesn't know me.
And I don't know him.
He is the least of us.
What is clear to the world is mysterious to my Brother.
And what is plain to him is to us misplaced.
My Brother stood before the world today.
Overcome by Joy, he proclaimed "I love you!" for all to hear.
The room moved as his Joy spread to every person who heard.
My Brother cannot hide the light from his lamp, poured out like the heart of a child.
He is the first of us.
I hope one day I will know my Brother.
And pray that He might know me too.
