Stewarding God’s Things
Everything belongs to God. The earth, the Church, our buildings, our money, our time, our talents—none of it is ultimately ours.
Stewardship is not about “giving to the church”; it is about faithfully tending what already belongs to God and releasing it for God’s mission.
That’s why our garden (Grow2B) feeds hungry neighbors, why our lending library forms children in mind and imagination, why we gladly share our building with schools, other churches, Girl Scouts, and Alcoholics Anonymous. It’s why we plant pollinator gardens and tend bees that bless creation beyond our fences, and why our memorial garden in the woods offers holy ground for prayer, remembrance, and the resting place of beloved saints.
We give back to God by using God’s things for love, healing, justice, beauty, and belonging—trusting that when we open our hands, God multiplies the gift.
